Best Sous Vide Tilapia

Ingredients
Serves 5
- 2 pounds skinless tilapia filets
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 4 tablespoons dried bread crumbs
- 8 black olives, pitted and roughly chopped, for serving
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil
I have spent a decent amount of time cooking fish in the Sous Vide. I think this is a unique and flavorful dish that is something different to do with Tilapia. Hope you enjoy!
Method

Heat Sous Vide to 134 F (57 C).

Mix lemon juice, (4 tbsp) tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic, oregano, (1/2 tsp) salt, and (1/4 tsp) pepper in a small bowl.

Put the fish into a large Sous Vide bag. Pour the mixture into the bag. Mix well so the fish is fully coated.

Cook for 30 minutes in the Sous Vide bath.

Mix bread crumbs with freshly chopped parsley. Put the fish on a broiler-safe pan. Coat the top of the fish with the bread crumbs.

Place in the broiler (over with broiler is fine) on low for 5 min or until golden brown. Place the black olives on top the breading, serve.
